Elipson Alpha 100 RIAA Description
Elipson know a thing or two about speakers, take the Planet M for example, they are a designer masterpiece with the sound to match. It would seem only natural that they take their expertise and develop a turntable...allow us to introduce the Elipson Alpha & Omega range of turntables. Of course this is no ordinary turntable as Elipson don't do ordinary, the Elipson turntables have managed to bring modern technology to a retro design. They are full of features with a contemporary feel.
Advanced Speed Control
Speed control is one of the most important things when playing vinyl, if the correct speed is not obtained then the track will simply not sound right. Elipson have achieved a technology that aims to prevent speed variations by power fluctuations using Digital Sinusoidal Signal synthesis. DSS means that the turntable can work on any voltage at any frequency in the world.
High End Design
The tonearm is constructed from aluminium which makes it lightweight yet rigid. The orbital structure gives ideal balance, for precise and accurate tracking. Weight and anti-skating are both fully adjustable - letting you change the cartridge to any model you choose. Although the price of the Alpha 100 puts it in the budget range of turntables the stylus is a substantial upgrade over similarly priced models from other brands. The Ortofon OM10 will greet you with the warm sound that a vinyl lover expects without damaging your vinyl like a lesser stylus would.
Built In Phono Stage
The Alpha 100 RIAA features a built in high quality phono stage, this means that you can plug the turntable straight into your amplifier or active speakers without the need for a separate phono stage. The phono stage is also a clear step up from similarly priced decks from other brands and matches the OM10 stylus perfectly.
